Prof. Oswaldo Lorenzo Ochoa

Prof. Oswaldo Lorenzo Ochoa is specialized in two areas of knowledge and management: Information Technology and Business Process Management. His research interests lie in the implementation, assimilation and diffusion of enterprise systems for the purpose of improving processes and supply chains. Professor Lorenzo feels technology serves as an enabler to improve Business Process Management. However, he does underscore the fact that many business failures are due to the fact that technology was seen as an end in itself, rather than a means. Professor Lorenzo’s extensive experience in this field has led organizations in different sectors, such as food, automotive and banking, to contract his consulting services.

Prof. Oswaldo Lorenzo Ochoa has been Visiting Professor at Manchester Business School (UK), INCAE (Costa Rica) and Bordeaux School of Management (France). He has taught in MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Education programs in various countries, such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland, Guatemala, China and Venezuela.
